Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Unsubbd ("we", "us") for your use of the website at unsubbd.com and the subscription tracking service offered there (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You may use the Service only for your own personal finances, or for accounts you are authorized to manage.

3. What the Service does, and does not do

  • The Service helps you list recurring subscriptions, find recurring charges in data you upload or connect, and decide what to keep or cancel.
  • We do not cancel subscriptions for you. We provide links, instructions and draft messages. Cancelling, and confirming that a cancellation took effect, is your responsibility.
  • We are not a financial adviser. Recommendations, totals and savings figures are estimates for information only and are not financial, legal or tax advice.
  • Detected charges, renewal dates and prices may be incomplete or wrong. Check them against your own statements before acting.

4. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly at support@unsubbd.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

5. Connecting a bank

Bank connections are optional and are provided through Plaid Inc. By connecting a bank you confirm you are authorized to access that account, and you authorize us and Plaid to retrieve information from it as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid's own terms. You can disconnect a bank at any time in the app.

6. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate recommendations and draft messages. Output may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. Review anything generated before you rely on it or send it.

7. Fees

The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, we will show the price before you are charged, and you will not be charged without agreeing first.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or with accounts you are not authorized to use;
  • attempt to access another user's data or interfere with the Service's security;
  • scrape, overload or reverse engineer the Service; or
  • upload malicious code or content you have no right to share.

9. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of the information you add or upload. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the Service. The Service itself, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Unsubbd.

10. Third-party services

The Service links to and relies on third parties, including the companies whose subscriptions you track. We are not responsible for their websites, prices, cancellation policies or actions.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will save you any particular amount of money.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Unsubbd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, savings or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@unsubbd.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we will update the effective date and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE TO BE CONFIRMED], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your place of residence require otherwise.
